General
These terms and conditions (“Online Store Terms”) apply to all transactions concluded with you, the customer, when you shop via cheesemakingshop.co.uk website (“the Website”) and the online store. Please read them carefully before placing your order and print a copy for your future reference. By registering at the online store you accept and agree to be bound by the Online Store Terms and the terms and conditions of the Website (“Website Terms”) which together shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Jongia (UK) Ltd.(“Jongia”).
Jongia reserves the right to alter these Online Store Terms from time to time.
References in this document to “the online store” refer to the Jongia official online store at http://www.cheesemakingshop.co.uk operated by Jongia.
The Online Store Terms are subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If any Online Store Terms shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that Online Store Term shall be severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining Online Store Terms.
Acceptance of orders
Jongia are only able to take orders through the online store for delivery to the countries listed on the checkout pages. If the country that you require delivery to is not visible then Jongia will not be able to process your order.
Jongia validate your order and credit or debit card details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. Once that has been done, Jongia will confirm that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide in your registration form. Our confirmation of your order brings into existence a legally binding agreement between us.
Jongia accept all orders for products and services subject to availability and certain security checks.
Jongia accept payment by most major credit and debit cards. Payment will be debited from your account before the dispatch of your purchase. All credit and debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer and Jongia. Jongia will not be liable for any delays to your order this may cause. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us or you fail our security checks, Jongia will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Availability of Products
If online store products become temporarily unavailable, Jongia shall hold your order until Jongia has the product back in stock and will then mail the product to you in the usual way. In the event that an individual product becomes permanently unavailable then Jongia will seek to offer you a suitable alternative or give you a full refund.
Colour reproduction
Jongia has made every effort to reproduce colours in the online store as accurately as possible. However, different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways, and so exact colour matches are not yet possible over the internet. This means that when you order products from the online store, colours may differ from what you see on the screen. If you are not satisfied with the colour of the product you have ordered, Jongia operate a returns policy (see “Returns Policy” below).
Products and Pricing
All product prices include Value Added Tax (“VAT”) where applicable. These may change in line with UK government, Customs and Excise, EU directives, and other legal interpretations issued by relevant authorities.
Jongia reserve the right to amend any prices without any prior notice and at any time and the right to add or withdraw any product at any time.
Export
Import duties and local taxes are NOT included in the quoted price of goods being delivered to outside the EU. You will be responsible for the paying of any and all import duties and local taxes including any administration charges upon receipt.
Also certain items might be confiscated by customs authorities. Jongia (UK) does not replace items that are confiscated, the customer has to check local laws to ensure the product purchased is allowed to be imported.
Guidance
To the extent that Jongia are permitted by law to limit our liability to you in connection with any order, that liability will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant product(s).
Delivery
Your order will normally be dispatched within 5 (five) working days of placing the order. Whilst Jongia make every effort to deliver goods within such timescales, however, some delays are inevitable. Jongia shall not be liable for any delay that you may suffer in this regard. If you would like to view the status of your order please visit ‘Order History’ in the ‘My Account’ section of the online store. If, after checking your Order History, you have any questions about the status of your order then please refer to our help section, accessible from the foot of every page.
Next Day Delivery* is based on Royal Mail Terms and Conditions and in order to ensure that an order is delivered the next day (=next working day), these orders should be received before 13:00. After that time we can not guarantee it will be dispatched the day of order.
Jongia are authorised to share your personal information with third parties who are used to fulfil your order or satisfy our obligations to you.
*During the Corona epidemic all delivery guidelines are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, we recommend you do not pay extra for next day delivery.
Cancellation/Returns Policy
Jongia have the right to cancel any order you make for any product if you fail our validation or security checks. In certain instances you may not receive email confirmation of an order being cancelled. If payment has been processed you will receive a full refund.
You have the right to cancel any order you make for any product purchased through the online store for a full refund. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it to us within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt in an unworn/unused condition for a full refund or exchange. When returning products to us for refund or exchange, you must pay for the appropriate postage costs. Full orders returned from UK customers will receive a full refund including postage charges.

Please wrap products securely, fix the returns label safely to the parcel and attach appropriate postage. Please remember to include your completed returns form and give the reason for return and any new requirements. Jongia advise that returns are sent recorded delivery via Royal Mail as Jongia will not accept liability for lost returns. In the instance Jongia are liable for return postage costs Jongia will not refund return postage above or beyond the initial postage charge. Credit/Debit Card and PayPal payments
This online store uses Sagepay to protect your personal information. When you enter your card details you are in a secure web site.
Marketing
We may contact you by email from time to time relating to offers, products and services offered by The Cheese Making Shop. You can unsubscribe from these emails and newsletters at anytime by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link found at the bottom of every newsletter we send you.
